Forums - Gaming - So.... Ubisoft really gon' release three/four games within a week of each other

This is a big problem in the industry itself. Far too many releases in the run up to Christmas but hardly any in the summer. Releases need to be properly spread out through the year

Xbox Series, PS5 and Switch (+ Many Retro Consoles)

Prediction: Switch 2 will outsell the PS5 by 2030

How many developer team they got?!!!

They have 9,200+ employees (not all of them are developers, there are a lot of PR, QA, admin and support staff mixed in) across 26 development studios world wide. They move devs and studios between games as needed. By headcount they are second only to EA with 9,370+.

I bet they are bunch of ex-employees after defunct old publishers/developers.

Still don't get AC rouge vs AC unity.

What if you're a next gen owner but are interested in playing Rouge on your PS3/360. Both games will undoubtably cannabalise each other. One should be launching in march 2015.

I will get AC unity out of those 4, is its good and the reviews are solid. The rest i am not being swayed and i am bitter lol because AC unity is launching on MCC collection day.......... I only have money for one!!!!

Seems like a dumb idea to me.

Well they did buy THQ Montreal in the firesale. But that was after there last headcount. On the other hand job security is low in the gaming industry and people move around all the time so that describes most game studios. But Ubisoft constantly have a dozen games in development at all times means they don't do what most studios do an lay off a bunch of people every time they ship a game.
