Three of their biggest releases of the year releasing a week apart...

The way I see it ACU & FC4 have pretty much the same audience. Thats alot to ask of them for a week.

Why not also throw in:
Just Dance 2015    - 21st October '14
Assassins Creed Rogue - 11th November '14

So yeah... Release 5 games within 4ish weeks.....WTF You-Bee-Eye_Soft (From The SCEJA translator in press conference)

Its the right time.. First weeks the "core" will buy the games and the weeks after that parents will buy them for the nagging kids for the holiday season.. With the core catching up again with the games they missed during and after the holiday season.. Increases the momentum of a game and more importantly the timespan of full price buying

Yeah the release is fine date wise. But releasing 4 of your biggest ip's together is silly. More chance of selling both Far Cry and ACU at full price to the same person if the release is seperated a bit more. Far Cry shouldnt have to compete with Assassins creed, likewise The Crew shouldn't compete with Assassins creed

I think it's a good strategy. They are going the Starbucks route --- just open a store on every corner (a game every week) and you're sure to catch every customer passing by.

They are loading up for holiday sales, as the games will sell better in a crowded holiday than in a barren January.

It's ok since their demographics don't overlap too much. ACU and FC4 are a week apart and Rougue for PC will come a good bit later so I'm ok with this.
