They have 9,200+ employees (not all of them are developers, there are a lot of PR, QA, admin and support staff mixed in) across 26 development studios world wide. They move devs and studios between games as needed. By headcount they are second only to EA with 9,370+.

I bet they are bunch of ex-employees after defunct old publishers/developers.
