Forums - Nintendo Discussion - I got Theatrhythm FF Curtain Call early!

How would you compare the amount of content to the first game? Is it worth getting the first game (i.e. is the track list/DLC from the first game included in curtain call)?

So how many Chaos Shrine songs are in play now? I know they use more than the 20 in the original, but are all 200 songs included or is it still just a few of those?

Well, it seems they ditched the Chaos Shrine setup for the quest medley system. I've only completed 4 quests (comes to around 25 songs), so I can't say what's included or excluded. There's been a great variety, so I'm assuming it taps into the entire collection.

It has a ton more content than the first, and it has 99% of the original game's tracklist (may have it all, but you unlock the special movie songs so I can't say for sure) plus many others that are new or were DLC.

Prostitution is bad.  Don't let people sell you.

Wow this looks amazing. I love FF and music. I need a 3DS badly.

I think they only removed Somnus, so 99% sounds about right =P

Funnilly enough, this is the game I want to play the most on the 3DS, he.

The first one I played was okay, not into much that sort of game though. I'll probably pass on this one.

I'd recommend waiting for the New 3DS if you don't already own one.

That was the only thing I heard of not being there and I was pretty sure that was just DLC from last game.

How does it compares to the original? I put over 90hrs on the original, I really really loved it.
But while this seems to be better in every aspect, does it justify a full price buy?

Based on the demo:

Hit detection improved quite a bit.

Less confusion with the Chocobo Dash!! in FMS.

Better-looking pre-music stage character pop-ups, or whatever you call them.

Button controls are convenient in menus, extremely hard to use in FMS, as easy to use as stylus controls on BMS

Based on what I've seen outside the demo so far:

You've got to be kidding me if you're including 200+ songs in a game for $40 where the predecessor cost the same, and had less songs even when you blew more money on DLC.

Versus mode? Always a plus!

From what I hear, Unlimited Quest Medley is underwhelming...at first. Quest Medley is a nice addition overall. (Disclosure: I've also played Theatrhythm on iOS)

Story is, well, nonexistent again. Well, it almost seems so.

Easier to grind for Rhythmia because there are 200+ songs now!

Crystals are no longer color-coded according to character.

It's up to you if you want to drop full price for it, but I certainly am!
