The controls aren't as bad as I thought. Megaman is awesome, I have yet to understand how to use Villager. Oh and I spent 3 hours on the demo already. Time sure flies!

Surprisingly better than expected. It looks and plays really good. I really like Megaman :)

Amazing.
The combat is better than brawl but the jumping is still floaty thats my only gripe with it.

I'm perfectly fine with the "floatiness" of SSB4.  But you know, "floaty" can describe every Smash Bros game including Melee.  That floaty feeling is needed for recovery from when you get knocked far off the stage.  Just saying.

Megaman:

The dog from up + B does not stay there forever if left on stage. In fact he disappears in a few seconds.

His Smash attacks are pretty quick on ground and air. I don't know much about the Megaman games so I can't explain any further.

His down taunt is his intro animation.

His a attack is the normal weapon he uses in Megaman 2 and you can run and use it like a gun item in brawl. In fact, you can only hit 3 or 4 at time rapidly before he cools down like the game as well. It also blocked my Pikachu's fully charge side B....

"The dog" is named Rush, good sir.

And my only complaints with the demo are (1) only 4 characters playable (a fifth to give matches a little more variety would've been nice), and (2) only one stage. Pretty much, the demo is just too demo-y. Only realistically worth single-player action for a max of a couple hours - after that, it's worth playing if you can get some local multi going on, but that's it.

Game speed is pretty good, definitely not as fast as Melee but nowhere near as sloppy as Brawl, so I can deal with this.

Mario: 2gud, seriously Mario is great and some easy to pull off combos too.
Link: Still pretty meh but not as meh as before, at least he's more playable now.
Pikachu: Pretty good overall, not much else to say.
Mega Man: A bit weird to play but I can see a lot of potential with his move pool.
Villager: A bit random but pretty powerful, I need to get used to his/her overall feel.

Overall it's pretty good so far.

Go to the eShop, go to the far left, and hit Settings/Other, and then Redeem Download Code.

Impressions? Beautiful game. Running smoothly and definitely better in person. Also 3D is amazing.

You're complaining that a demo is too much like a demo. lolz...

Also there's 5 characters and technically two stages with the Final Destination variation of Battlefield.

I gotta say, the game so far feels great.

It's alot better than Brawl for sure, and while it's not even close to Melee or Project M, its got a lot of its own unique things that still make it a great experience.

I can't wait to see how the competitive meta for this game develops once the game comes out.

You accounting for the fact this is just the 3DS version? You'll have it with a Gamecube controller and (I'd imagine) silk-smooth processing before year's end.
