Ps4 already sold 2 time more then xbox one ps4 will dominate but not like ps2 domination

I don't see the gap reaching 10 million much less 30 million.

You not seeing something means nothing.  It is not an argument nor even a worthwile point to make.

Gap will be in the 80m plus area when its all said and done.

I don't know about 80M, but it will definitely be at least ~25M.  Personally, I'm thinking 40-50M.  Don't understand how someone can look at the already 5M+ gap, in just under a year, as well as the One's situation in EU and Japan, and come to the conclusion that the gap will only be 10M.  Either he is blind or naive.

I also don't get some Xbox fans belief that the One will retake the US.  MS has thrown everything they could at the One (180s, price cuts, hugely hyped/popular games bundled for free), but the PS4 is still winning there.  Even with the Destiny bundle siphoning off sales for the past 3 months, it's still winning.  I think it's time to let it go.

Of course it won't dominate as a lot of people here claim it is. Xbox one will do amazing and so will the ps4. Sales will increase on the Xbox side I can assure you. This week on the charts it outsold the ps4 in the US. Xbox is gonna take the US back I am sure of it.

You'd have to explain how the X1 can even take back the US, at this point. One game isn't going to do it (and it just had an exclusive bundle for the week - hardly something to expect a repeat of next week). Sony will probably remain price competitive, so that won't be enough, either. We've already seen previous explanations as to why it would happen and none of those got it anywhere close. Thus, it's going to take an explanation of something other than wishful thinking for: "Xbox is gonna take the US back I am sure of it" to make sense.

Next, the PS4 is already dominating. It's currently 2:1 (and the X1 loses weekly by upwards of 3:1, sometimes). Very few expect a domination like the PS2 era, but it doesn't need to hit that to be dominant.

CGI CGI why do you and some people think I am talking about now.

I don't see the Playstation 4 outselling Xbox One in America for this entire generation. I predict it will be just like last gen where

Xbox 360 dominated the PS4 in america.

Now I am not saying the PS4 cannot win in america. I am just saying I don't see it despite the fact that the PS4 is outselling the xbox one

in america right now. That is all I am saying.

I don't see the ps4 holding on to the lead. And I predict november will be the month the xbox one finally outsells the ps4 in america

mainly because of call of duty.

Once again I could be dead wrong, but that is what I think will happen.

ohh and by the way CGI. I don't think it will even be close to anything like the ps2 era. It is not even like that now.

The PS2 outsold the Xbox by a margin of 5: 1.

Currently, it is a margin of 2:1.

Microsoft did a great job ensuring XBOX got into the minds of the public. Call Microsoft whatever you want cheaters, (coming out a

year earlier), money-hatters, whatever they had to do they practically is neck and neck with sony in every territory except for

japan and mainland europe. In the UK USA and Canada Microsoft clearly beat Sony and Playstation.

IT IS ONLY THE FIRST YEAR!

Why can't some of you understand that things can change?

2015 COULD be different for the Xbox One. Microsoft could do many things. The obvious one is a price drop to 350 for the xbox one.

I don't think microsoft will do that though. Second anounce even more exclusives. That will change what system people will buy.

Or just people start spreading word about the games thats already on the system that is not on the ps4.

The Xbox One can outsell the ps4 in america in 2015. IT IS POSSIBLE. Anyone that says that is impossible is fooling themselves.

Again I am not saying this will happen. I just think that is what will happen.

PS4 can also outsell the Xbox one in america as well. I AM FULLY AWARE OF THAT.

But again, though, why? I think the Xbox One has a decent chance (well, better a chance than anywhere else) of catching up to the PS4, even outselling it to a degree, but what you should keep in mind is that the Xbox 360 and PS3 drew level with each other globally only because the Xbox 360 was massively winning in the U.S., and substantially leading in the U.K. Heck, even those big victories, and an over 30 month NPD win streak for the 360, didn't keep the PS3 globally outselling the Xbox 360 month after month, until it had gobbled up the 360's initial lead. Keep in mind, the fact that they're about equal now is only due to a quirk of timing; had the gen been two or three years shorter, the 360 would be the clear winner. Had it been two or three years longer, the PS3 would be the clear winner. It just so happens we're at a point where they're intersecting, before the PS3's higher momentum carried it past the 360 altogether.

Dominating the PS4 the same way the 360 dominated the PS3 would require not only a truly massive boost, (which Call of Duty and Halo MCC may indeed provide,) but for the PS4 not to be boosted at all during the holiday season, which is just silly. Keep in mind, the Xbox One could match the PS4's sales in the U.S., even outsell it by 10-20%, and still get dominated globally. It could completely DOUBLE the PS4's sales in the U.S., and still have the global gap get wider and wider in favor of the PS4. The only way we can see the Xbox One even start closing the global gap is if its baseline sales TRIPLE, with no boost whatever to the PS4's baseline, and even then it would take months, if not years, to close the five million gap.

Also, when you say outselling the PS4 in America, do you mean 'They will finally win a month,' or do you think November is when the total Xbox One U.S. sales will be higher than the total PS4 sales? Because that seems like a pretty massive long shot. o.o

You dont see is not an argument, you need to use a few facts in a intelligent congruent manner why you happen to see it.

But such a thing does not exist.  Reality fatcs and numbers destroy any arguemnt any one can make, all you are doing making threads based on feelings.

Might as well start them with " i wish and hope thus i think it will happen", becasue thats all they are.  Chilidish threads with no substance but "feels" as wish it was facts like this add nothing to the forum.

The only way I feel Microsoft's XboxONE would stand a chance this generation would be if they purchased a major studio.....no not Mojang (which is just plain wrong) but someone like Activision or EA or Rockstar to get hold of global AAA titles. Thats the only way I see it happening.....sadly though it won't happen because it would be in a sense economic suicide in one respect as MSFT would be paying a premium for a company only for them to write off at least 1/2 of the value but making it exclusive.

First of all Minecraft has sold over 50 million copies across multiple platforms.

What is plain wrong about that?

I don't know what microsoft have in mind with that deal, but the only thing that come to my mind is making the maybe mindcraft 2

will be exclusive to the Xbox One.

........or MOJANG has a killer game in development that microsoft wants exclusively on the Xbox One, that they are not telling

anybody about, that people will want to play and it will be Xbox exclusive. Again possibly selling Millions of consoles.

That is why I keep saying things can change for Xbox One. Microsoft has the money and resources to make the Xbox One

extremely successful just like or even more than the Xbox 360.
