Okay, I'm way off the mark when it comes to the PS consoles, but isn't that the case for the Vita? I'm serious, since I've only started seriously considering the Vita when it went down to sub-$200, and I'm flip-flopping between getting it and the Wii U lately.

Take it from a Sony fan and Vita owner.  Get a Wii U.  The lack of exclusives is a big issue with the Vita.  You might see a few games here and there, but that's pretty much all there's going to be all year long.  Most of what the Vita has is a port of a PS3 titles, and a good chunk of them have framerate issues, the Sony published ones especially.  If you don't own  a PS3 it makes the Vita line up a little better, but that also makes the Wii U line up a lot better as well.

The Vita has 925 pieces of software that's available to it.  This includes PSX, PSP, Minis, and all the digital games the Vita has.  Everything releases digital as well as retail.  Most indies suck.  Here's the link to look and see what's available in the west.  If you're in Europe you'll need to go to that store.  https://store.sonyentertainmentnetwork.com/#!/en-us/all-ps-vita-games/cid=STORE-MSF77008-PSVITAALLGAMES|platform~vita|

I counted less than two dozen that I'm interested in. Damn.

Really hoping that half of those Vita titles get localized, and I don't have a PS3 anyway, so I'm pretty much still stuck. You made my choice harder because, the Vita is now on equal footing with the Wii U again...

This is very cliche answer, but nevertheless, it all depends on your tastes. If games like Pikmin 3, Mario Kart 8, Zelda U, Wind Waker HD, Bayonetta 2, and Smash really appeal to you, I suggest that you get the Wii U. However, if you like Japanese-centric games and indies, get a Vita. Some Japanese games include Danganronpa 1 & 2, Disgaea 5: A Promise Revisitted, Freedom Wars, Persona 4 Golden, Gravity Rush, Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment, and Toukiden. Some good indies you'll find on the Vita are Velocity 2X, The Swapper, Minecraft, and Don't Starve: Giant Edition. If you want, you can pick up some of its very few western games like Killzone: Mercenary.

I can't wait for TGS, only few more days.

The problem is that I like the software on both, and the hardware on both. (And I've tried both.) That's my problem.

And, I have the fact that more titles are developed for the Vita in Japan, ergo there's a chance that those games would at least be localized.

So I still don't know this, will there be another Sony conference for TGS or not?

Exciting times are ahead, tgs is in a few days.

Lolll, I was doing ctrl F, The Last and it was all green but then as soon as I put in G, it went red T_T

The Last Thinker :/

Nice lineup though

PC Specs: CPU: 7800X3D || GPU: Strix 4090 || RAM: 32GB DDR5 6000 || Main SSD: WD 2TB SN850

That's a lot of games, but I wonder what other surprises they have left. There still have another conference I think.

That's a lot of games. How many of these games does the Japanese audience actually care about though? Destiny? Really?
