It will be interesting to see how things will continue once its user base will be larger. What if at some point Capcom decides it's become appealing enough to make a Monster Hunter Freedom for it?

He's speaking for SCEE and talking about the western market. I wouldn't be surprised to see SCEJ continue with stuff on the scale of Soul Sacrifice Freedom Wars.

There's still a market for it in Japan at least. That should mean if enough diehards in the West clamor for ports, they might get them.

Maybe they should push retailers to stock the thing. My local Targets/Walmarts have less than 10 games and no systems. Not a lot of people are going to develop for a system you dont sell.

Getting an XBOX One for me is like being in a bad relationship but staying together because we have kids. XBone we have 20000+ achievement points, 2+ years of XBL Gold and 20000+ MS points. I think its best we stay together if only for the MS points.

Nintendo Treehouse is what happens when a publisher is confident and proud of its games and doesn't need to show CGI lies for five minutes.

As a first day PSV owner, I don't really have a problem with this. Admittedly, I don't really use mine anymore even though I still bother to download games for it and transfer them to memory chip for the odd trip in which I get really bored.

As long as the PSV is still used a a cross system peripheral that can play cross gen games, I'm actually okay with that.

You know, Sony, fine. However, at least friggin advertise the Japanese games that are being localized.

I feel pity for the 9 million Vita owners.

Yes, but Capcom case is noteworthy because it released the first MH on PSP when that platform had a smaller user base both in Japan and globally, this time they are still reluctant because PSV is showing a slower growth. Sony should use the Japanese games niche better outside of Japan, clearly showing support for it, as for many Japanese games, the ones not too little or too limited to a Japanese audience, it can be large enough to justify localizations.

It's enjoying growth year on year, but we're not going to do a damn thing for the fans who bought one.

This is what I heard too.

Sony has every right to make a portable system oriented around multiplatform small-budget games and family-friendly fare. But it should have embraced that philosophy years ago and marketed the system as such. As of now, this announcement amounts to a near-complete reversal of the Vita's tag line, "console quality gaming." As a Vita owner I can't help feel a little insulted.

people in internet hate to admit it but people want console quality gaming on playstation handheld,it's not true that if Sony has marketed the system as an indies handheld every time i show somebody an indies games they always said how you could buy those shitty games on vita but when i show them console quality games many wishes to buy a vita

PS4 - over 100 millions let's say 120m
Xbox One - 70m
Wii U - 25m

Vita - 15m if it will not get Final Fantasy Kingdoms Heart and Monster Hunter 20m otherwise
3DS - 80m

Doesn't it already have MHF on it?

Thanks Sony! Was definitely the main reason I bought one *rolls eyes*.
