Ah thanks, so vgchartz has it a little too high.

Those 6k for Vita seem unbelievable. Are they only tracking the OLED model like before? It only has shipment issues if there isn't enough demand from consumers, but this heavy drop of about 10k from 16k last month is just painful to watch.

...Let the Sony Domination continue with the PS4...

o.O

"no console doing 250k, consoles are dead!"

why ignore the fact that LTD are way above previous gens?..
Every month is different and has its own circumstances. Both the PS4 and XB1 are doing quite well in US. As was said before the concrete numbers, they're doing +70% better than PS360 ltd

with all the bundles that had been announced for both consoles in these holidays i'm not surprised that are plenty of hold-outs. bundling is quite aggressive right now

Shame about the Wii U though...

I'm not that surprised. There are really no new games for it, snd the last new one was Borderlands in May. And those content with Japanese translations all have a Vita already.

Too bad there is no Madden for Vita anymore, that could have helped some. Same as FIFA bundle will help a little in EU. But not much. Are there any actual announced games for Vita at all, except digital indies?

Well, they'll make a campaign for LBP-Vita with marvel costumes this christmas, there's Murusaki Baby coming in, also Freedom wars soon and we shall see some new Japanese games soon. Also I don't know if FIFA 15 will be on Vita this year, if it does it should help a bit in Europe.

FIFA bundle is already announced.

I don't see Murasaki doing anything, it's just another cutesy/weird digital game that for some reason got put on a physical media.

Freedom Wars is again a game for established Japanese fan-base, doubt it will attract any newcomers.

And is LBP even coming to Vita? That might help a bit, but one game every 6 months is hardly enough to justify a purchase for many.

I mean, Vita had a decent 2013 lineup with Killzone and Tearaway leading the charge, and it still did poorly.

Don't get me wrong, I have a Vita, and I like Japanese games, but it gets boring to play only those. Ultimately, I just quit buying them, and now only turn it on to play a bit of Football Manager and Mahjong...

Vita less than 6K? WOW, that's sad!

What?  It's currently the market leader...for Sony handhelds.  So all is gooooood!

Vita deserved so much better =/

People in USA should form a aliance to save Vita, it's a good boy.

I'm still wating for Sony to decide to bundle PS4 + PSV for $500, that should start helping it and people would end up liking it and maybe it had a chance to be popular, and and... I'm just daydreaming =/

Sony somehow let the most perfect Handheld system ever created become a failure. Excluding launch, they treated the system like an unwanted child and thought 3rd parties will magically take care of it, whilst throwing uneccessary support at a fully grown PS3 which could take of itself with brilliant 3rd party support and TLOU.

GT6, God of War Accession, Pupeteer, Ratchet and Clank Nexus, Jak and Dexter 4 (BELIEVE!), Morrowind Remastered... All games that could and should have been PS Vita exclusives. On top of that a half decent COD Port would have done wonders, they done it for the wii, so it could be done for the Vita.

Oh well, theres still minecraft to look forward to.... Otherwise R.I.P Vita.

So, Mario Kart 8 sold 66k in Aug according to NPD, but VGChartz has MK8 selling 80k with one week remaining (so on track for 100k. Thats quite the delta, but lines up with how much the Wii U appears to have been overtracked this month (59k versus ~80k on VGC assuming the final weeks sales in Aug is the same as the week prior).

More like 180k and 150k.

So the PS4 will sell 720k units in the rest of the world to meet your prediction of 900k every month?

The mistery of the 10mi PS4 continues:

We have 4mi in USA, 1mi in UK, 700k in Japan, and 500k in Germany(?)...

lol you're still looking for ways to discredit Sony's 10 million PS4's?

He is just a unbeliever.

Before "I don't believe these GAF leaks... I want to hear from Sony officially"

After "Snif I can't believe... snif... it is not true... snif... SONY IS LYING! YOU CANT FIT 10 MILLION CONSOLES IN THE WORLD! It had to be. It needs to be... snif"

This post deserves a Report, but I don´t want to see you leave so soon.

But no, I belive in the 10mi, companies can´t lie this way.

It´s just that no one (but you) were giving anything close to 10mi with the numbers we have this summer USA + Japan. VGChartz was almost 1mi undertrack, even in NeoGaf they were talking about 8mi or 9mi tops.

10mi was a surprise. It´s out of the curve.

I came here expecting to see XBox vs Wii U arguments and to my shock people are actually trying to discredit the PS4.

People Need to remember that PS4 and XO don't even have their own games at the moment. They shouldn't be selling, but yet they are. PS4 is doing amazingly well considering its line up consists only of ports and cross gen titles Imagine what it will achieve once it has games that can't be played on the 360/PS3.
