Sorry but the current 3DS XL is the worse 3DS model. I bought the Yellow Pokemon model and sold it just after.

It's really heavy, the start/select buttons are still awfull and the screen has worse image quality than the ambassador model.

The original ambassador model has still the best screen IMO (better contrast, better colors), by far.

Looks very nice but no i won't be purchasing it. Thanks for asking though.

Yeah, getting the same vibe. I for one want to do dirty, dirty things to the NES one. So freaking sexy!

Anyway, it's funny how I hear a lot of people talking about how they'll just wait for the "New" ones while last week most people were just complaining about them. I guess we all love shinny new things after all. 

I also don't understand why people think the "New 3DS" idea for the branding is such a terrible one. I mean, it worked for Apple. Of course Nintendo doesn't have nearly the same pull as Apple as a brand, but they'll be ok. 

If the New 3DS weren't coming I'd definitely be interested in the Persona Q one. The NES one seems a bit lazy to me, especially after the NES GBA SP. I haven't seen the inside of the NES XL though, maybe they put more effort in than I thought.

I think it's ridiculous for Nintendo to launch these right before the New 3DS launches. Why not make these bundles for the New 3DS and really boost sales? I mean, I would imagine anyone who is going to purchase a 3DS in the near future is going to just wait for the New version.

If I was going to get any of those designs, it would be the NES one, BUT only if it actually looked like the console, not the controller design they went with. What it should be is it looks like the console on the outer case, then when you open it, on the controller half it looks like the top case of a NES controller. As is, it doesn't really interest me.

I'd get the Persona one.. but why would I?
New 3DS comes out next year... It's like Nintendo think NA has no idea of the New 3DS..

With a name like " The New 3DS" I think there will be plenty of confusion and more than a few people will buy an XL now w out understanding there is a new 3ds coming, particularly as it relates to parents buying for their kids 

also imagine how conversations will go at the big box stores that sell the 3DS-   Does anyone think if they walked into Walmart today and asked if they have "the New 3DS" that they will not be directed to the current 3DS models?  Or that most associates at the big box stores have any idea a new 3ds has been announced and  will be coming out in the future?   They did not give a release time for non Japanese regions for a reason
