Forums - Gaming - So which console are ye upgrading too this year. Update twice as many people are going to buy a ps4 over a wii u and twice as many people are going to buy a wii u over a xbox1. Why?

got a PS4 last month because it was 265€.
Maybe I will get a XBO with Destiny for 299€ tomorrow (lets see if I'm lucky)

I don't think I'll upgrade this year. Probably in 2015 or the next year. Probably will be either PS4 or Wii U.

Not planning on making a purchase any time soon, I don't own any 8th gen consoles today.

Part of the reason is pricing; the new consoles are simply way too expensive, and even though I have a fairly good income now, I feel that they're not worth. There is also a distinct lack of must have software for me on the new consoles, in fact; I can't think of a single one between them.
I always buy consoles late; lower price, more stable hardware, more software for a lower price and lots of issues have been resolved and/or patched.

Got Wii U in January and PS4 in May and am happy but PS3 stills gets more playtime because of backlog. Using Dualshock 4 for PS3 games is so good. I was used to Dualshock 3 but its seems to small now.
