Hell, it only outsold it on 50% of the data we have, and yet everyone is saying it has done so. Comepare that to the time nintendo fans were being called morons for saying the Wii U was over a certain number (10K I think) based on only one of the charts.

I can tell. I would say those titles mentioned all follow the same formula to some degrees... Or to a lot of degrees.. Either 3rd or first person shooter with insignificant tweaks added to differntiate itself from the others... Nothing new, creative, or innovative about such a standard approach to gaming. 

It boils down to difference in perspective, i found halo 3 campaign to be awful, and multiplayer fun for a couple of hours. GTA is okay while driving on bikes, but the 3rd person missions are a drag.. I recently downloaded assasins creed 4, played it for 2 hours, worst gaming experience ive had EVER! 

I bought killer 7 last year, incredible game and very artsy.. Skyward sword in 2013 as well.. Bought wii u at beginning of 2014, and pikmin 3, tropical freeze and mario kart 8 all excellent titles... Not the best selling games, but far far better than assasins creed which was a disaster, and if ubisfoft releases that kinda crap, i know to expect nothing from them.

A game doesn't have to have something new or be creative or innovative to be a good game.

You may not like 1st or 3rd person shooters or other games such as Assassin's Creed, but you are clearly in the minority.

The worst gaming company in the world , ubisoft, has released 11 assasins creed titles including unity since 2007..nintendo works 3-4 years on one zelda title, skyward sword, and one per console... And 4 smash titles since 1999... Ubisoft is a disgrace to the gaming community, and should be heckled for daring to be such an uninspired lackluster bust of a company.

Wow, that's some real hate. I think Ubisoft are great, one of the best gaming companies out there. So what if they release a lot of titles, they have so many teams and people they are probably being made for a good couple of years each and they are all fun so what's the problem? They also made one of the best games this year in Child of Light. I love Ubisoft, gaming would be a lot worse without them.

Child of light is highly uninspired, and the creative/artistic team at ubisoft likes to play high and grand, but in truth, they are all a bunch of amateurs who knows nothing about what constitutes a good game, or what art is even remotely about. They are horrible. Point blank.

4-5k is above average given its weak start. Usually titles will have fallen off this chart by now, the game's been out for a month. Just look at some of the other titles that have already come and gone by this point.

Who cares whether something is 'inspired' or not? As long as it's fun, that's what games are supposed to be right?

Inspired titles are always more fun, as it is with any creative product and its results.     But whatevz. Ubisoft to me, has no soul, personality or effort put into their producta. My personal opinion.
