I can tell. I would say those titles mentioned all follow the same formula to some degrees... Or to a lot of degrees.. Either 3rd or first person shooter with insignificant tweaks added to differntiate itself from the others... Nothing new, creative, or innovative about such a standard approach to gaming.
It boils down to difference in perspective, i found halo 3 campaign to be awful, and multiplayer fun for a couple of hours. GTA is okay while driving on bikes, but the 3rd person missions are a drag.. I recently downloaded assasins creed 4, played it for 2 hours, worst gaming experience ive had EVER!
I bought killer 7 last year, incredible game and very artsy.. Skyward sword in 2013 as well.. Bought wii u at beginning of 2014, and pikmin 3, tropical freeze and mario kart 8 all excellent titles... Not the best selling games, but far far better than assasins creed which was a disaster, and if ubisfoft releases that kinda crap, i know to expect nothing from them.

A game doesn't have to have something new or be creative or innovative to be a good game.
You may not like 1st or 3rd person shooters or other games such as Assassin's Creed, but you are clearly in the minority.

The worst gaming company in the world , ubisoft, has released 11 assasins creed titles including unity since 2007..nintendo works 3-4 years on one zelda title, skyward sword, and one per console... And 4 smash titles since 1999... Ubisoft is a disgrace to the gaming community, and should be heckled for daring to be such an uninspired lackluster bust of a company.
