I think it might be a bit soon for a DW9 announcement. SW4 only came out this year and DW8 Empires isn't even out yet.

An announcement at TGS would mean sometime Fall/Winter 2015.

Yeah but you would think they'd want to release Empires first, rather than to draw peoples attention away from it.

Empires is a small side project. It'll do sub-100k, and no extra effort or advertising will change that. It's all been a small treat for fans rather than something to focus on.

There were only 4 months in between release dates of DW7 Empires and DW8.

Hardly. VGChartz takes the middleground between the 2 and that one puts the ps4 over.


We need to be clear, is VGCharts numbers always wrong and should never be trusted, or right and always trusted? Because everyone her flip flops between this.

It's only correct when the preffered console is doing better than other sources have you belive. Surprised you didn't know that already!

There was also a 2 year gap between DW 7 and DW 8. Add to that the fact that Omega Force seem to be making more games than ever before at the moment it just seems too early. Maybe it will be announced, but just seems too early for me.

DW8 came out in Feburary of 2013. 2 years would put DW9 in Feburary of 2015, rather than the Sept-Jan of 2015/2016 I was mentioning.
