There's a certain saying for this:

If you wait, it will get cheaper.

Until it gets more expensive again =P

*Looks at Neo Geo*

*Looks at Dreamcast*

*Looks at Xenoblade Chronicles*

Generally,  however, the saying will apply.

But no game is ever really $60 on PC unless it's a Blizzard game. You can almost always find a 20% off coupon pre-launch for a title, hell I think I pre-purchased Dead Rising 3 for $35 (that game actually works great on my system so double win).

I wait for sales on both PC and Console games, you can thank Steam for the former and both Activision and Ubisoft for the latter.

I actually find PC piracy a little too sketchy these days, so I tend to avoid that altogether.

That too. My friends and I each got Dark Souls 2 for 35$ or somewhere around there. I payed 10-12 bucks less because I had some credit on that site. Think it was Gamer's Gate.

4 ≈ One

Still better than pirating isnt it? Steam saved PC gaming.

Dont believe it, 90 percent of my Steam friendlist doesnt own any big game game at launch, but there's always a surge when games are on sale.

"The survey also found that roughly 37% of those surveyed were PC gamers, and that only 51% of these gamers were men."

The whole article was supposedly about PC gamers but only 37% are PC gamers? Do they include mobile as a PC game.......this whole thing is too vague.

Getting an XBOX One for me is like being in a bad relationship but staying together because we have kids. XBone we have 20000+ achievement points, 2+ years of XBL Gold and 20000+ MS points. I think its best we stay together if only for the MS points.

Nintendo Treehouse is what happens when a publisher is confident and proud of its games and doesn't need to show CGI lies for five minutes.

Wow 50% of US PC gamers buy most (all? It's not clear their methodology for this) their games at full price? Seems much higher than I would have expected.

Check out my hype threads: Cyberpunk, and The Witcher 3!

I admit that I sometimes wait for a sale to start!

probably casual gamers who play sims or blizzard fans

In consoles though, what often happens is that the majority of the sales come from the first week. This further proves that console gamers are the most loyal and the ones that keep the industry moving forward.

...Let the Sony Domination continue with the PS4...

For a PC game? I almost never pay full price because of the Humble Bundles and Steam Sales.

Console exclusives, however, I will usually pay $60 for. The prices will stay high for a long time, so I have to pony up the cash if I want to play the game. Because of this, I predict I will not have very many games for my PS4 and Wii U come the end of the generation. (At least compared to the previous gen)
