Forums - Gaming - Boom Blox FOR WII by Steven Spielberg

Oyvoyvoyv... SOME 3rd party games do sell well on the Wii.. Carnival Games comes to mind. This game should attract the same market and by the looks of it, actually be GOOD even if the concept can't be taken much further than what the original game has implemented(kinda like Katamari Damacy in that regard).

I wonder how hard they're gonna push the advertising with Spielberg's involvement.  He's not exactly a name that gamers would flock to but casuals may be intrigued enough to help sales quite a bit.

I think it looks great, It'll sell over a million no doubt, I'll play it if my brother picks it up or something, cause I'd rather buy something else.

That game has, and still looks amazingly fantastic. I can't wait.

I don't need your console war.
It feeds the rich while it buries the poor.
You're power hungry, spinnin' stories, and bein' graphics whores.
I don't need your console war.

NO NO, NO NO NO.

This is a WiiWare title, right? No, I'm not joking, in case people think so, I just don't know a lot by non-Nintendo 3rd party games on Nintendo consoles.

About 450 Wii games, I'll leave it up to you to see which ones are 3rd party (a pretty good amount).

This is definately the kind of game I'm interested in. Unique, interesting, thought provoking, with a high degree of creativity for those that want to build and trade their own stages. The videogame market is sorely missing these kinds of games these days, and I for one will definately support this game with a purchase.

You can find me on facebook as Markus Van Rijn, if you friend me just mention you're from VGchartz and who you are here.

This game looks pretty fun. It looks like there are a lot of different things to do, even if it is still basically a "mini-game game" I'll buy it.

Add me on Xbox Live: TopCat8

Finally people are putting the uber casual games on the Wii that it was designed to be able to support(Like Brain Training for the DS)

I think this will sell very well with the casual(and some core gamers who like puzzles). The Speilberg name will help it make its way into the casual household.

End of 2009 Predictions (Set, January 1st 2009)

Wii- 72 million   3rd Year Peak, better slate of releases

360- 37 million   Should trend down slightly after 3rd year peak

PS3- 29 million  Sales should pick up next year, 3rd year peak and price cut

 um....huh?  what is tg?

And if your post really means "I heard this game will have head tracking alao Johnny Lee" then look at post two.

Everyone I know wants this game and a few of them hate the wii. And yes there is head tracking but it's an easter egg.

"Back off, man. I'm a scientist."

Your theories are the worst kind of popular tripe, your methods are sloppy, and your conclusions are highly questionable! You are a poor scientist. Especially if you think the moon landing was faked.
