Brawl simply is not going to be revolutionary enough to end with scores on part with Ocarina of Time or Super Mario Galaxy. It's a prettier version of Melee, with more characters, more control options, and online play. If it can end with a score above 93% that would be fantastic for the kind of game it is. Obssession over scores isn't healthy anyway. This will be a great game, end of story.
Game Journalism is super screwed up in the first place. So it doesn't really matter to me.
There is no such thing as a console war. This is the first step to game design.

I think you left a few hundred things out, the most important of which are SSE, Finishing Moves, Stage Builder, and enhanced gameplay.
It's like saying MGS 4 doesn't deserve top scores because it's a prettier version of MGS 2 with new characters, more story, and online play.
It's a sequel with a similar control scheme, but its got such a different feel and so much added in, that its an entirely different and better experience. It's not the best game ever made, but if this Smash Brothers wasn't derivitive, and it was the first game in the Smash Brothers series ever to be created, then yes, it would probably be considered the best game of all time, and be ranked higher than Ocarina(blasphemy!).

What are you smoking? This is an internet forum. Either the game gets 100% or the reviewers are biased against Nintendo and want the game to failed (I'm sorry, I'm feeling a little anti-Nintendo fanboy today).
