I'm buying amiibo's to compliment my shelves more so than any game at the moment.

I might play around a bit with smash and amiibo's, but at the moment it's implimentation isn't that exciting. Maybe it will do something cooler for Mario Kart or other games.

But Link and Samus are going to look cool on my shelves.

OT: I'll get Ike and Lucina if they turn out to be useful. Still not sure specifically how well they work with the game, but Fire Emblem characters will make cool collectibles. Especially for this crazy fan!

OT...I'm definitely getting a Samus.  How do you not?  It isn't just a toy...there's funcionality to it.  Whether I buy more really depends on their implementation.

I'm definitely going to buy a Link/Samus figurine when they eventually get on sale for under 10$ around this holiday. The detail on the Varia suit is too awesome to not be placed on any Nintendo gamer's shelf!

And if there's a way you can detach them from the Smash emblem stand and make the NFC still work, I imagine a lot of people buying some other amiibos lol
