BTW my iPhone 5S is more stable and faster (way faster) than any 2014 super top Android.

Android still have so much to grow the reach the iOS level and delivery ;)

I think it looks cool and it's in line with what I expected (so many leaks...) People should stop looking at the numbers and see how these things actually perform. I've had so many Galaxy users tell me that my iPhone takes great photos despite the "low" megapixel count. Same will go for the screen here - lower resolution but better contrast and colors. If you want big numbers (and there's nothing wrong with that) you shouldn't buy an Apple product. I don't get all these debates, really. Neither Apple nor any of the top-of-the-line Android phones suck. They are all really good phones and whether you buy an iPhone or a Galaxy or a Nexus you can't go wrong with either.

Grow up, people. Just because you don't like something doesn't mean people who buy that thing are stupid. Some of you spend more money on video games in a single quarter than those "stupid" people spend once every two years on their new phone - do you want them to call you stupid or sheep?

i have to admit that apple does a better job at optimising their software than what happens with android because you get the manufacturers taking the stock android and running their own custom os on top

Uh yeah I'm good with my iPhone 5S, however I do like the bigger screens

So they finally have a decent size (but not a decent resolution) phone, finally "innovated" NFC payments, and finally have a smartwatch. Way to compete.

As a 2 week owner of the HTC One M8, I must say it is a fantastic device. It runs incredibly smooth,  feels flexible,  has all the features I want,  phenomenal sound and fantastic picture.  I also seriously considered Samsung Galaxy S5 for its camera and extra features. 

There is no single smart phone that is best for everyone.  iPhones are easier to access for my mom,  and the features of the Galaxy won over a couple of my friends.  You basically have to decide what features are most important for you and go from there.
