Yes, one week being closer makes the difference between them for the whole month really small.

lmao, u are right hell madden bundle fell of amazon top 100 already, its just a week later. and the madden bundle didnt even break top 30 on amazon since it was announced , and the ps4 version was selling better than x1. hes bannanas .

I'll just wait for the actual NPD numbers to crop up. Pachter's usually dead wrong for the most part, and I've very rarely ever seen him get something even close to right.

A few points:

-The Madden bundle sold out on Amazon, that's why it's no longer on the top 100. It's only available from 3rd party sellers now, who are charging more than MSRP for the bundle. Amazon's second shipment doesn't release until September 16th.

-The Madden bundle did indeed break the top 30, in fact it was in the top 20 the day that Madden released, just behind the PS4. It also made it into the top 20 on Gamestop's charts the day that Madden released. Additionally, Target ran a special with the Madden bundle that was a better deal than either Amazon or Gamestop had, so it likely did better there than at other retailers.

Thanks for that research. It puts things in perspective. Looking forward to the March NPD. After that, things start to get crazy!
