I am absolutely fascinated by the predictions from the Xbox One First Week Prediction thread. It really is strange, isn't it, the 360 did horribly in Japan and there has been an overall downward trend there for years in home consoles, add in the fact that Japan is now the biggest mobile/tablet gaming market in the world and you have yourself only one possible outcome to predict; a console trademark with a weak image and presence in Japan and poor software efforts to shoehorn the hardware onto the market will keep on doing worse by all logic.
