I spend €1000 - €1500 per year for games (that's $1300 - $2000)... this year so far €1100 ($1400):
- €303 on my main Platform PC (most of it on Steam, Humble Bundles included)
- €226 on Wii U games (DKC: TF, MK8, NSMBU+NSLU, Nintendo Land, Pikmin 3, SM3DW, WindWaker HD, ZombiU)
- €172 on Vita games (Atelier Rorona + Totori, Danganronpa, FEZ, FF X + X2, GoW 1+2, R&C 1-3, Sly 1+3,...)
- €163 on PS4 games (DriveClub, inFamous: SS + FL, Killzone: SF, Oddworld: New'n'Tasty, TLOU:R)
- €91 on 3DS games (Prof. Layton 6, Prof. Layton vs. Ace Attorney, Zelda: A Link between Worlds)
- €68 on iPad games (Blackwell 1, Broken Sword 5, Botanicula, FF4, S.F. Tunguska, realMyst, The Room 2...)
- €49 on PS3 games (God of War 1+2, Persona 4 Arena, Ratchet & Clank 1-3, SoulCalibur 5, Sly 1+3)
- €21 on Android games (Humble Bundles included)
- €0 on Xbox360 or Wii games this year (so far)
My PS+ costs are already included... up to 2013 I counted €1 for every PS+ game I got. For 2014 I changed that to 50 cents per PS+ game, since I now get 70 - 80 games per year for the subscription (around €35 per year).
Hardware spendings this year:
- €266 for a Wii U Premium + accessories: €200 main console (€226€, but I counted €26 for the included Nintendo Land) + €5 adapter + €23 high capacity battery + €38 Wii U Pro controller... with 100% compatibility, i could sell my old Wii for €33; remaining costs are €233
- €370 for a PS4: €504 for the Killzone-Bundle, but I sold the included camera, second gamepad and Killzone: Shadow Fall (after playing it for some weeks)... with the €115 profit of my sold-through Launch-PS4 (my most wanted games got delayed, so I could wait for the Killzone-bundle), remaining costs are €255
- €189 for a Kindle Fire HDX 64GB tablet
- €49 for a Kindle FireTV (mainly for video streaming, but I will try some Android games with controller support on it, too)
- €25 for a SteelSeries gaming mouse (my 8 year old Microsoft Habu got connection problems)
A new PC graphic card (GTX 970 or 980) and a 64-GB-memory card for the Vita (I hope for a price cut on TGS) are next on my list, "new 3DS XL" next year.
