I knew it!

But...well, mind explaining what your thought processes are here? Or is this top-secret stuff?

care to explain the i knew it?

I'm pretty sure I mentioned at some point that I felt that there was something about Impertinence's play that I wasn't sure about - I never had anything solid against him.

I am sure you did too. In fact, it's right here:

which of course reads pretty funny when you consider this:

I vote Nicklesbe

It's unlikely I'll have long enough to do much, but to try and avoid further suspicion for my lack of activity in this thread compared to elsewhere, I shall continue. Gotta do something before NPD, right?

EricFabian - Now things are getting interesting. It's fair to say I'm not a fan of Eric's playstyle. We all know he voted WhiteEagle initially, and despite a myriad of questions for further clarification, the only thing vaguely representing a halfway decent argument in his mind is in his vote post and a pretty bad joke which doesn't make much sense to me. But what instinct does he have? His constant evasion and seeming lack of interest (amplified by posts such as this one and the fact he doesn't understand the rules; didn't bother to read them maybe?) rubs me up the wrong way entirely as well. And it's not hard to see from other posts in the thread, I'm not the only one. It didn't get much better from there; he claims he will explain in the next post, but then his next post is this...saying he's already given his reasons. And his "I'll read and re-read every post" contradicts a later post of his. Other posts such as this one makes it feel to me he doesn't understand just how much hot water he's in, which is a little concerning. It suggests further that he still isn't really focusing on the game or taking it seriously, which even if he is town isn't particuarly helpful. One thing in his favour; he has been more active than I thought even if every post (pretty much) is pointless fluff.

Here's a little advice, Eric. Just give people something. Anything. It doesn't particularly matter what your reasoning is, saying something is better than saying nothing. It's not too late to save your case, but it's certainly a very poor start.

Current suspicion - Mafia. I feel like he's being evasive because he doesn't want to give anything away; and he's being active because his Mafia partners are telling him to post more to avoid suspicion (even if the posts are meaningless), if there's day talk ofcourse. In my opinion, he is a prime target for a multitude of reasons. If he's Mafia, great. If he isn't then we can refocus elsewhere rather than trying to draw blood from a stone as it is right now. There doesn't seem to be much to lose. HoS for EricFabian

FusionCode - Well, he hasn't posted. So I can't give my opinion. Odds are he's going to be replaced soon so I'll skip over him.

impertinance - An interesting poster. Seems like he's got a lot of history in playing this game, he's done a lot of good analysis and asked a lot of good questions. Started off with a bang immediately turning on the pressure. He seems to think there's a ghost and everyone is after the ghost; which is a bit strange and was pointed out by others at the time. Perhaps it's my lack of experience, but I don't think that's too suspicious. It's the start of the game; people are throwing suggestions and thoughts out left and right. I don't want to dwell too much on the last game but we were hung up on possible problems like the number of factions or bad character match ups for far too long, the Mafia managed to dictate play and reinforce these thoughts. Afterwards he looks at Nickelsbe and his shaky opening. He's not the only one to do this, and he piles the pressure on as others do. He looks at how things went last game, and there are some good points. But my concern is hanging up too much on the previous game may not be the best approach, and the analysis of Nickelsbe will come later. Then, he questions various other users including EricFabian and FusionCode, for similar reasons as I suggested above with the former and pushing for a replacement with the latter. He admits to making errors as well which is a good sign. What isn't a good sign is his assumption that there's multiple factions. A slip, or simply an honest mistake? At this point it's too early to tell. What can be seen is he's highly active, he's trying to get answers, he answers questions posed to him and he's looking at all possibilities. As with Carl, this is something which is good to see and that's a plus in my books.

Current suspicion - Town. There's some inconsistances as others have pointed out, but he's asking the right questions and getting the ball rolling. With so many posts, it only makes sense there would be the odd mistake or two. Maybe I'm just too forgiving, but his positive attitude and generally looking at the vast majority of users makes me think he's town currently.

Will continue tomorrow. Again, these are just my thoughts so don't take too much from them.

Sorry for not posting much. Been a bit busy with schoolwork. Also, I have this terrible habit of writing a post halfway through getting distracted and then feeling its not relevant anymore and scrapping it

yes guys, I was lazy yesterday. I'm human. Is not everyday I have the strength

that's understandable. It can be a chore to be rereading it all so much

well, I read everything now. And no, is not understandable. I'm not everyday in front of my pc or with smartphone.

I meant that your situation was understandable. It's not enough just to read. You need post a well. If people are posting things you don't understand ask questions. If you're do confused as to not know what to ask. You'll need advice from someone who cab explain it better than me.

I have been in here posting. I've made plenty of posts but less so the past couple of days because of the move and other family events. I apologize if that's an issue with you; particularly considering the fact there have been plenty of users who have posted far less than I for reasons that they have said in some cases (and why are you willing to believe them rather than I?) and some who haven't provided any reasons.

Analysis

Hopefully this helps you out somewhat, Wonktonodi.

When I brought those up it can been close to 24 hours that you hadn't posted in here. I do have issues with other players who aren't posting much. Though some were getting strong attention with various results. also most of them weren't even logged in let sponge posting so much else where.

You had twice promised analysts that you failed deliver. Had you not offered it then the issue would still remained that you don't need those to find scum. But you do need to do more than lurk. Glad to see my vote got you back to posting, but that really did confirm you had been lurking.

That's understandable. And it wasn't lurking, just fortunate timing as I got to my laptop and saw the blue notification icon in the thread.

I'll try my best to post more anyway. After this weekend there shouldn't be anything stopping me for the rest of the game which is good.

So can we expect more out of you soon? I can't check easily on my phone but I think we're down to less than 24 hours for day 1

You are correct; 23 hours from now (effectively) to make our decision.

I'm all for a lynch today, particularly with the strict time limit in place.
