Change the title to "Square Enix want to alienate the last group of gamers who will call them on their shit" and we have a winner.

You can shorten that to just, "Square Enix Shit."

I mean... they already translated the game for the PSOne. Surely it wouldnt be out of this word to edit and extend wherever necessary. Really, it doesnt sound like a costly process at all... Squeenix is not beeing reasonable.

As for DQX i dont think they should bring it. The series is not popular enough outside Japan. But really, they have no excuse for not bringing DQ7.

Take a siliconera article with a giant grain of salt.

And snuggle the girls be they short or tall,
Then follow young Mat whenever he calls,
To dance with Jak o' the Shadows."

Shorten more to "Square Enix" or just SE... people will know the meaning/jk I love a lot of their games.

Azzanation: "PS5 wouldn't sold out at launch without scalpers."

That's why FFXV will have no text at all. They invested the saved money in 20 people to make the sky box look more blue.

This is why I don't see why that companies like Sega, Square Enix, etc, turn to a company like Kickstarter or do preorders for localization and as long as they get a set amount of preorders in a certain amount of time, then they will start localization of the game.

With as many interviews as journalists have with these higher ups, why haven't they ever mentioned the possibility of this.  Gaming journalists are stupid.

Yes let's start donating money to billion dollar corporations because they're too scared to take risks. Can't think of a worthier cause.

Except it's not donating when the game is already complete.

I dislike indie devs on Kickstarter because you're paying for a game that isn't out yet, hasn't started being developed, and you have no idea how it'll turn out.  I don't know how many times i've read about people getting screwed out of their money from donating on Kickstarter as well, plus many games people have funded turned out to be crap.

Yakuza 5 and Dragon Quest 7 are games that have already been released in Japan.  You're doing nothing more than an early preorder for localization.  Yeah it's because the developer is too scared to take the risk, but you're paying nothing more than the cost of the product as if you were to purchase it on day one.  A product that's already complete with plenty of gameplay videos and reviews from people who have already played it, so there's enough information on how good it is floating around out there if you want to take other peoples opinions and/or create your own based on gameplay you've seen.

In other words... DQ7 and 10 are only coming to the west if Nintendo does the translation Job... Lame SE...

Menx64

3DS code: 1289-8222-7215

NNid: Menx064

Whatever. What I want from SE is stuff from this list:

- FF XV
- FF XII HD Vita (FF IX, VIII and VII would also be great - on Vita obviously!)
- DQ VIII HD Vita
- FF Type-0 Vita (and no remote play from PS4 shit excuses!)
- Crisis Core HD and Dirge of Cerberus HD Vita
- Kindgom Hearts 1.5 HD and 2.5 HD on Vita
- Xenogears HD Vita
- Xenosaga I, II, III HD Vita
- Super Mario RPG Wii U

Whenever they release something from this list - they have my money day 1. But my hopes aren't that high, I mean - most this stuff requires HD remasters and if they are too lazy to even translate how can I expect them to make a remake...

Wii U is a GCN 2 - I called it months before the release!

My Vita to-buy list: The Walking Dead, Persona 4 Golden, Need for Speed: Most Wanted, TearAway, Ys: Memories of Celceta, Muramasa: The Demon Blade, History: Legends of War, FIFA 13, Final Fantasy HD X, X-2, Worms Revolution Extreme, The Amazing Spiderman, Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate - too many no-gaemz :/

My consoles: PS2 Slim, PS3 Slim 320 GB, PSV 32 GB, Wii, DSi.

At least give us 8, fuck. If the 3ds can do X, then it can do 8- and bonus, it's already been translated!
