It's interesting to see people championing anti consumer business practices as better for the games industry. Each to their own I guess.

Yep, the migraine dimension |
That's Sony 3D TVs.
You can adjust the volume of 3D on the 3DS, which is why the 3D Depth slider is a dimmer switch. So no one gets migraines if they know how a dimmer switch works. Poor people who can't grasp the concept of dimmer switches, LOL.

While it's most definitely welcome that you can turn the system more than 5' before the viewing angle is lost, I think the vast majority of gamers would rather have a better resolution than the SNES for their 3D gaming.
I kinda wish they'd just drop the 3D aspect. The system is serioulsy throttled for processing power as it is, dropping 3D would allow them to at least have resources matching the Wii as opposed to something between the N64/Dreamcast.
I find it utterly baffling that the same group so eager to declare doom on Vita for running console games because that's not what portable gamers want, is now excited at the prospect of a portable Xenoblade Chronicles at a quarter of the resolution.

3D has way more clearity then it's used resolution. And on a 5 inch screen with the games made with the exact same resolution as the screen, it literally wouldn't look any better as 4K HD with 4K HD screen then it does as 240p with a 240p screen. This is fact.
