It will, but not that much
Xbone was bundled at launch with Fifa and it didn't help in Europe. How is this ANY different? Seriously as a history major this makes no sense lol
it will help to sell more xb1 than without free fifa15
it wont help to sell more fifa15 on xb1 than ps4
Doubtful. Europe is Sony land. Guess it'll give it a boost though.
Sigs are dumb. And so are you!
| Aerys said: In comparison, they already had a Fifa 14 bundle at X1 launch , Fifa 14 being offered for free and still, people prefered to pay for the game on PS4... : http://www.vgchartz.com/game/73754/fifa-soccer-14/ http://www.vgchartz.com/game/72224/fifa-soccer-14/
It would have been cleverer to make an Assassin's Creed bundle, Fifa is and will always be a sony game for most gamers. |
You should make a little more research before posting a thread like this one. You're blatently disregarding the fact that Sony consoles are extremely more popular in the region. Why even compare the X1 console to PS4 in the first place. You should simply look at Europe console sales before and after the bundle to see how much of an increase resulted from this bundle.
It's like saying if Xbox one was bundle with Final fantasy or Monster hunter in Japan will it change the landscape of the japanesse market torward Microsoft.
It isn't helping the X1 in Europe, it's still dead there.

Bet with Xander XT:
I can beat more games on his 3DS than he can on my PSVita in a month. Loser has to buy the winner a game on his/her handheld Guess who won? http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/thread.php?id=193531
Me!
It will help X1 but it will help PS4 more
PS4 - over 100 millions let's say 120m
Xbox One - 70m
Wii U - 25m
Vita - 15m if it will not get Final Fantasy Kingdoms Heart and Monster Hunter 20m otherwise
3DS - 80m
Whenever FIFA came out, the PS3 got huge sales boosts in Europe. The PS4 is doing substantially better than its predecessor, so no, an X1 FIFA 15 bundle would only create marginal results.
Sony is a the official sponsor for Fifa. They are connected with Europe. Imagine Microsoft's American football deal in the US, and add that they have been sponsoring American football from day one. This is the equivalent of what's happening in Europe.
That's why Fifa is more of a Sony franchise, even though it's on Xbox.
I think that the bundle will help their sales, but not too much. It would probably help temporarily and then the sales of the console will just go back down to normal.
