This has always intriqued me. Each gen's winning console has looked better than the rival consoles. For example: The ps2 was nice and slim. Yes, it looked like a box. It looked like a manly, sexy box. The xbox, looked like a giant beast! It was huge! And i'm sure some kids were scared of it with the huge "X" on it. The cube's design is one of the reasons why I think it failed! It looked like a kids toy! It'a main color was purple! I mean, most consoles start off with a white or black color then goes on to others. Another bad thing was that it was shaped like a lunch box! what do you think?

I love my Virtual Boy.

This gen, all the consoles have style to it.


The Ps3 is curvy and has a nice glossy look.

The Wii has a nice smooth look with a stylish stand to go with it.

The 360 has a nice but rough
looking matte chrome finish to it.

The original PS2 is what sold the most, and that thing was bulky and big.

The virtual boy looked "eh". Not "ugh" but "meh".

The original ps3 looked about 30 times better than the cube and 20 times better than the box!

It is merely one but small determining factor. The more important things would price, excellent games, and a constant stream of support.

i meant "ps2" in that last post of mine.

There is a reason why I am not mentioning Sega, and that's because their consoles never really looked "great" or "good" they looked "ok".

well wii doesn't look cool, i think, but its sold 21 mil. Although its slim and lightweight.
