Maybe Dragon Quest XI if it is a traditional Dragon Quest game, but beside that I can't really think of anything else. What kind of games are Japanese people super into anymore?

It would have to be a new IP I think honestly. 20-30 year old franchises can only do so much.

None really.. I think console gaming in Japan will eventually be dead!

Abenomics..... Maybe. Nah, some miraculous incident where there are 5 breakout new ips like youkai watch on consoles in a year.

Regular main title FF games. No stupid sequels, no online. Good game after good game every 1-2 years. Like PS1 era.

I mean while we in the precious west have out Halos and CoD every other year, their games of note are the FFs and DQs, these need to be regular. It will not only bring the consoles success but SquEnix as well.

Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts? But realistically speaking, it would take a miracle. They have naturally progressed towards mobile and handheld.

Good quality JRPGs, they are too rare or on handhelds.
