First off, it's not an HD remake. It's an HD remaster. It's the exact same game, just polished a bit.

And second of all; NO!. No more remakes. I hate this fetishistic obsession with remakes gamers have these days. The Resident Evil series is dead and we should let it stay dead. Capcom wrecked it with 5, let's all move on with our lives. The last thing I want is Capcom remaking Resident Evil 2 with an over the shoulder perspective and a dumbass companion who steals all the supplies.

And why does RE2 need a remake? What's so bad about the game that it needs fixed? Nothing. It's a perfect piece of survival horror. It doesn't need an update.

I hope they do. I mean if Crapcom had their money to port Resident Evil 4 to Android, why not remake Resident Evil 2 & 3?

Okay then. How about we remake Super Mario Brothers, The Legend Of Zelda, Metroid, and Super Mario Brothers 3. Look at those terrible 8 bit quality graphics. And we should remake Final Fantasy VI, Super Mario World, Super Metroid, Zelda: A Link To The Past, and Super Castlevania IV. Look at those terrible 16 bit quality graphics. How about we remake Pong. Look at those terrible graphics man, it's just two lines and a ball #PongRemake #GraphicsWhore2014

Give me a break, man. Your only reason for wanting a game remade is because it doesn't fit your standard for graphics? Get over it. It's an old game, and it's fine.

Coming from a fan, I don't see how could you say something like that. Jake's campaign was good, since it was experimental; but Leon's campaign, despite a very good start degenerated into Michael Bay's wildest dream. Chris's, on the other hand, started not so good but it definitively offered the closest Resident Evil experience to be had in RE6.

the one least wanted will be what crapcom remakes if they did.

no man chris's campaign sucked, but the end was cool especially if you playedd as the dude that got infected, pierce i think, ya i did say sherrys campaign wasnt bad, but i suppose at least chris wasnt punching boulders this time

@vikki whats your favouriteb retro game,? Yes its fine the way it is, but if you ever played zelda ww, and then played zelda wwhd, you would never play zelda ww again and grapically speaking zeldaww looks could, its just the minor tweaks they made to zelda wwhd, that makes it play so good

That's a false equivalence. DVD and Blu-Rays are not remakes, they're rereleases or remasters. They're the exact same movie. 

If they port or remaster a game like they're doing with REmake then I'm fine. But to waste resources on building a brand new game based on a game that's already good just seems silly.
