The purpose of this thread is simply for discussion and is based on a completely hypothetical basis.

Hypothetically, if you could only play the franchise of either God of War or Uncharted - which one would you choose? Discuss why (optional, but preferable).

Uncharted cause I like games like Ninja Gaiden and Beyonatta better than GoW but I like Uncharted better than Tomb Raider (except the new one)

That's really easy. It's what I've been doing for all these years. Play all GOW games and never touch anything Uncharted.

It's the right thing to do.

I have not actually had the chance to play the new Tomb Raider. I don't really know many people in my area who have played it, so that is a factor as well. How much would you recommend it?

GoW, I personally find Uncharted to be pretty boring.

Its pretty fun but there is a clear disconnect between the gameplay and the story. Like for example, in the story, shes this "innocent" vulnerable girl that hates killing things vs in the gameplay, you mostly just kill things and solve puzzles but hey, I got it for $5 so for $5, it is fantastic and I do like it a lot more than uncharted 3

It depends of what do you ask. I can choose only one, but I can play other games right? Just not the other of the two?

If so Uncharted over GoW. It's currently my favourite series (until The Last of Us becomes a series) it does so much right, so enjoyable franchise. But GoW has my favourite gameplay mechanics of any game, period. So if I would be stuck with only one franchise and could not play any other games, I would go with GoW, more replayable.

I would pick Uncharted, God of war while great is slightly repetitive meanwhile Uncharted in every game always has a great stary and gameplay.

Uncharted. Exploration appeals more to me then violence. Not to mention, Kingdom Hearts is the best hack n slash to me.

Other games from other franchises are available to play as well.
Lets just say hypothetically Sony said that they would only continue one of these two franchises and they would let YOU choose which one to keep. Obviously this would never happen, but hey, I think hypothetical situations are fun.
