Every time i check the PS store there is new content. Never have i experienced such a strong flow of content so early in a consoles life cycle. For My Xbox1 its kinda meh ive got a few retail releases but seems slim pickings in the digital department. Also note it may feel so lopsided in my case because i buy all multiplats on my PS4 .

I think Microsoft has a much more quality lineup that isn't full of Indies however.

And all the localization's that are bound to happen: Disgaea 5, Persona 5, Hot Shots Golf & possibly DQ Heroes will help the list out. I for one don't really care if indies are included, I was against them too previously but there are many that are worth investing time into: Rime, Wild, Tomorrow Children, etc.

No joke! Definitely the worst game I've ever seen and played. A game like that doesn't belong on a $400 machine. It's sad that it even exists lol.

I'm not against indys. Just crappy indys. Which most of the PS4 indys are. I'd like to see some mobile games move over to PS4 if Sony is going to the indy route. There are a slew of old school RPGs on iOS and Android that I'd play on PS4. Also, a new Hot Shots Gold would probably draw me away from TLOUR and Diablo III. Heck, my wife likes Hot Shots so it would be nice to get the whole family playing PS4.

I can't speak about quality of former indies as I'm still waiting for my PS4 to ship but the ones I did list grabbed my attention immediately. They all have art - styles I can dig & seem ambitious/ interesting from what I've seen & read. Wild especially is a F2P game that has changed my mind about this particular business model! (or am I wrong of it being F2P?) I don't think Sony is going the Indy route, I just think they have a bigger focus on them to help bolster the value of PS Plus. I for one am psyched for Disagaea 5 as I've heard a lot of great things about it but I agree with Android's/iOS having some classics to play. I don't see why they can't be on Live/ PSN.

If Install Base gap continues to widen, you can expect that game gap to get stupidly large.

As part of a broader lineup, every game helps.

I believe both consoles are considered as being light when it comes to retail games.  For the knowledged gamer, its has always been clear the PS4 has great support on the digitial end.  The thing is most of those digital games are not lighting the fire for gamers who have either already played those games or only see them as brief distractions.

When all is said and done, gamers really do not care about which system has the most games, they only care about which system has the most games they care about.
