The Wii U may be able to pull ahead of the Xone in yearly sales at the end of the year because of the holiday boost, but I really doubt it's possible by October.

Even with the PS4 version, Destiny will still move more units than Bayonetta and Hyrule Warriors combined. Wii U may have a chance to gain some ground back with Smashmiibo, but it will fall behind in October.

Xbox One has more games coming out and a lot of bundles. Not only this, but during the holidays North America is the biggest spender and they will more than likely buy xbox one / ps4 over the Wii U. I just wish vgchartz will show the madden numbers already so we can stop having these dumb threads.

On Amazon US XB1 looks to be selling about 2 times more than Wii U. Wii U is still slowly dropping in ranks so it hasn't yet found a baseline.

In Europe the XB1 seems ahead except in France. In the UK which is the biggest market the XB1 looks like selling at least 4 or 5 times more than Wii U.  WiiU still pretty dead in UK.

sure, the ps4 boost will be huge... but who buys a xbone for it?


Seems a good amount of people did last week with the free game deals with any X1. We'll see how many soon.

I think the OP's prediction was already nigh impossible, but with the numbers for the previous week at ~85k XB1 > Wii U, and with the boost from the free XB1 game offer I think we can agree this bold prediction (which 73% actually voted for) is busted.
