EDIT: As for handhelds, I think I'm done with them, I bought my 3DS ages ago, last time I touched it was when Pokémon Y came out.

I saw many threads that people liked it more than they expected.

The audience for home consoles are mostly "real" games nowadays and I think that one of the reasons of Wii U's failure is the bad taste in their mouths from the Wii (it's also my least favourite console).

I wasnt aware the Wii U was a disaster. The console is still going and theres still great games coming. Why would i be angry?
Wether i buy Nintendo's next console depends completely on Nintendo on wether they make it a gimmick that harms gameplay like the Wii or a console that can be played in a classical style with something added on top like they did with the Wii U.
