I don't see any similarities. The 2DS barely got a reaction, mostly shoulder shrugs. The "New 3DS" is getting a much stronger reaction either positive or negative due to new features and having exclusives to its model.

Either way, we'll have to wait until the console comes out.

The reactions are nothing alike. Few on here were interested in 2DS at all because it wasn't aimed at them. With N3DS many are interested, but some are pissed off because they already have a Old 3DS.

Regardless, everyone loves Xenoblade, and that's all that matters.

No. Most people were okay with the 2DS because there is nothing really wrong with a model that is a little cheaper and offers the same as the 3DS. Just a price drop isn't wrong enough to make people upset. This new 3DS does way more than that, though, so I think more people are salty about this model.

No, because unlike the new 3DS, the 2DS could at least play the same games. It's not the new system that's enraged people. It's the fact that they are going to release games that can't play on 50 million currently owned systems.

Not really. The reaction to the 2DS was one of confusion and amusement. The reaction to the "New 3DS" is half of people seem exited and the other half are royally pissed off.

The way I reacted do the 2DS was: "I would of bought you if you could close it" (before I bought the Zelda XL). "Don't really care." New 3DS (after Zelda XL): "The fuck? Xenoblade 1 isn't being ported like Bayo 1. And locked to revision hardware?" *Cancels Xeno X Pre-order*." Not wasting money on something that will end in a few years"
