Ergonomically, it is indeed horrible for any intensive games. It has some interesting ideas, though.
Trolling thread?! All these games can be played by WiiU Pro Controller or WiiMote.
WiiU's weak point is its NAME!

What if you don't wanna spend more?, shouldn't the console come with a controller you like and feel comfortable with?.

if that is the case, why buy the console with a controller you don't like in first place?

I agree, you should document yourself and try to test it somewhere else when it comes to such a different controller. However, my point is that even if the games can be played with those alternatives, the main controller the consoles comes with the is the Pad and if you end up disliking it shelling more cash is not an ideal solution.

Which is why you do you're homework first and not buy something you don't like . Sounds like OP has buyer's remorse and is using Wii U' commercial shortcomings as justification for his opinion. The truth is that there are several reasons why the system has not been performed well. Some of which have nothing to do with the gamepad.
As with success, its twin brother failure is heavily swayed by timing.

I beg to differ. It's problem is that Nintendo tried to market it as a hardcore console and then almost immediately doubled back to their child friendly image after they realized they didn't stand a chance in hell at having a repeat of the success of the Wii if they kept the hardcore image.
I'm so tired of hearing about this. The gamepad is the defining feature. I think it would be smart to have the regular gamepad packed in. I know that would increase costs, but that would complete the system and make it out of the box ready for Mario Kart local races.
