The DSi came out 2 years before the 3DS. If the 3DS successor came out holiday 2016, that would be two years one the New 3DS on the market. No way they're keeping the 3DS out longer than that. I'd say sooner. Like summer 2016.

amiibos are only starting, new games to come, unity in the future, they are busy with QoL, the new console development is integrated with wii Us sucessor development...
2017 holiday is my bet.

XB1: 70M

WiiU: 14M

3DS: 60M

Vita: 13M

Yeah, before tha announcement i think 55mil-60mil was definitely going to be 3ds lifetime, but 65mil should definitely be doable now!
