Forums - Sales - Weekly hardware/software 23 August 2014

So almost 1 out of every 10 PS4s sold comes from the UK, not a bad effort.

I hope PvZ has had better digital sales than it has retail, I want the community to stick around for that. Diablo 3 UE did decent for what it is

Those are some massive wii u adjustments.

Its not hanging on though as it is slipping pretty fast. Did it sell? Hell yeah! Did it last? Not really.

i dont know, it sold well and most importantly moved consoles.

seems it did pretty well for itself.

it sold great but just did not last. I know its a remake and it still decently moved consoles but it didnt really last long.

No it isnt. Hahahahaha! uts on week #4 and just around 10k more than MK8 which has been out for mhm 13 weeks.

well, considering that it is a remaster of a game which sold 7 million copies and counting on the PS3. I would say the game is doing pretty well for itself.

It's not slipping this fast actually. The weekly drops are pretty average. Nothing dramatic. The only games that outsold it so far are newly released games. And one of them is Diablo III. So it's not doing bad at all for a remaster.

Also, claiming a game didn't last when we only have the sales for 3 weeks isn't exactly smart: MK8's drops in the first weeks after release were noticeable as well, but the game is still doing good 3 months later.

Just because you have an opinion doesn't mean you are necessarily right.

And massive X1 downtracks, people who thought it was overtracked were on the money. I wonder when the next panic button gets pressed. I don't think Madden will push consoles much. If MS moneyhatted EA into dropping ps360 versions into not existing maybe, but most Madden players are not the type to GAF about graphics tbh. So much easier to pay $60 for your existing console vs $400+ for a new one.

Those PS4 numbers are incredible. Wii U and X1 didn't do too great though.

True! and for the second part...True. But I am not to sad about the Wii u though. I know that if a game does not come soon though it will fall below X1.

Although the eshop is great!

Yeah Wii U will probably fall behind X1 next week.
