I agree but then I generally do not enjoy FPS games, FP games are fine but modern shooters are not. They follow a set path and mostly require you to get to the end to succeed. I played Crisis 2 when I had PS+ and even thought I played the entire single player, I never once thought 'This is great'. It was as generic as they come.

I'm currently playing Deus Ex and while it has better narratve some of the gameplay is to be desired, it is however more of a stealth as the actual shooter parts are not very good. The last FPS story I really enjoyed was MW1.

So, the OP starts the thread with a complete lie (that he hated Metro 2033 on PS3 -- the game that never existed), throws a bunch of hate towards games, stirs the pot and scuttles away.
Can someone please lock this so more unsuspecting people don't click on this mess.

I wouldn't say hate so much as an opinion. I agree that he's unqualified to judge things he's never played, but he mentioned a few fps that he thought were good. He's just opinionatedly generalizing, not necasserily hating.

I don't care for many shooters these days. I liked the old PS2 small map shooters.

But I really like Blacklight, really fun game. Probably one of my favorite shooters I played in a long time.

how did you play metro 2033 on ps3? It was never released there!! Also fps are a lot of fun, but not for everyone, that´s the reason different genres exist, there are popular so there a lot of them like platformers in the 90s and when you have a lot you normally have more bad games but that doesn´t mean there are no original or good fps just play bulletstorm, borderlands or metro (which has a way better story than mgs4, by the way)

It was METRO LAST LIGHT, I confused the name. I got it for free on PSN PLUS.
