I only know one person irl who plays dragon age and he plays on PC whereas I will be on PS4. So if MP has to be pre-orders parties then that pretty much counts me out, and from the description DA MP sounds like I might like it.

I bet there will be match lobbies like mass effect 3... but I doubt it will be crossplatform multiplayer...

The amount of time you needed to spend in ME3 MP to get to the readiness level needed for the alleged 'best' ending was a couple hours at most. It usually ended up being quite enjoyable anyway.

OT: This looks fine. Well thought out and no amount of downplaying, bitching or agenda pushing is going to stop me from enjoying the hell out of DA:I. Voted firmly on the picket fence though. It could be a lot of fun.

and why should't it have existed? Games are meant to be fun, aren't they? If the multiplayer added another layer of fun, why the hell not include it?

Honestly, Mass Effect 3 would have been a lesser game without it in my opinion. Multiplayer was one of the best things about it!

It did impact it a little, I mean my first play through, I didn't touch the MP as I didn't know it affected the story so at the end I only got 2 options. Not the third.

I'd just have prefered, in the case of ME3, they spent more time on the main game. There seemed less things to do, less party characters. The questionable story aspects at the end and lack of 'choice'.

I'm sure DA:I main game will be great mind you, it's the reason i'm upgrading to the new gen.
