and why should't it have existed?  Games are meant to be fun, aren't they?  If the multiplayer added another layer of fun, why the hell not include it?  

Honestly, Mass Effect 3 would have been a lesser game without it in my opinion.  Multiplayer was one of the best things about it!

It did impact it a little, I mean my first play through, I didn't touch the MP as I didn't know it affected the story so at the end I only got 2 options. Not the third.

I'd just have prefered, in the case of ME3, they spent more time on the main game. There seemed less things to do, less party characters. The questionable story aspects at the end and lack of 'choice'.

I'm sure DA:I main game will be great mind you, it's the reason i'm upgrading to the new gen.
