Forums - Nintendo Discussion - From the newest Edge: map in X more than 5 times bigger than in Xenoblade on Wii

Ofcourse it's pounds. But why would I use £0.99? That doesn't make a lot of sense.

99p is better (99 pence, 100 pence makes a pound)

WHAT? How did you get it that cheap? :o

Are you abusing your mod powers again? :-/

Seriously though, how?

Xenoblade felt so massive...
And as you progress through the game it only got more and more massive...
Color me excited...

Have a nice day...

Holy cow. That's very impressive, but why?

X's world was big enough. Making it (at least) 5 times bigger is too much unless they fill it with quests, items and different enemies and landscapes, otherwise it will get repetitive very soon.

I hope they know what they are doing.

Please excuse my bad English.

Actually I got about 7 copies for 99p each. One of the big gaming chains closed (Gamestation) and all their stock was being sold for next to nothing. Xenoblade was knocked down to that price, so I got them all

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

He stated why. Because you're going to run, drive and fly around in giant mechs. Hence the world would seem small(er) if they kept it the original Xenoblade's size.

Yeah, I read that part, but still they could just make it twice as big and make it more detailed and with more things to do. Just because you can travel 5 times faster, doesn't mean that the world needs to be 5 times bigger.

It's the "make it bigger just because we can" way of thinking that annoys (in lack of a better word) me.

I only hope they give us a map of the area(that goes filling up as you go, pretty much as in Xenoblade) on the Gamepad, since with how bigs the areas are going to be, a little map in the corner, like in Xenoblade, would be pretty much useless, and is not like it served for anything on Xenoblade, since you still would probably end up looking at the whole map, to see where to go.

COMG guide to points: 1 point = Raging. 2 points = Beasting. 3 points = Tearing it up. 4 points = Berzerk. 7 points = Rampage. 12 points = Burst. 15 points = god mode. 20+ points = DIVIDING BY ZERO!!! 40+ points = Youkai (originally Pokemon).

-1 = Negabeasting. -5= NegaRampage. -10 = NegaBurst

I have a feeling there might be some competition going on between Monolith and the Zelda goons. Who will create the biggest game world? Find out in 2026!

I think Monolith is helping with Zelda...

Monolith helped with Skyward Sword, but I wasn't aware that they are helping with Zelda U as well! :S
