Please don't go there Curl, I already have enough problems sleeping ):

It does not even have a solid release date. Hell, DK:TF had a solid release date and it ended up getting delayed.

Not having Smash these holidays would destroy Wii U's last chance to gain serious momentum. It would be suicide for them. But they've done so many stupid things in the last three years I have no confidence they won't shoot themselves in the foot yet again.

Which Kyoto based game(s) is/are being delayed to 2015? ( as referenced in the bullet points )

Anyone have an idea?

Knowing Nintardo, probably Smash. :(

But that's developed by Namco :P

I thought Namco were only assisting?

Anyway, I just have this lurking fear that Smash Wii U will get delayed to 2015, which would be  catastrophic for Nintendo.

I m wondering the same thing-   We have not heard much more about Amiibo since e3 either - seems like they have a lot to do by holiday 2014

it's almost all Namco with some of Sakurai's Sora staff.  Nintendo has never developed a Smash Bros. title. It's being developed at Namco's HQ in Tokyo anyway so this won't affect Smash at all.

and yeah i have wondered that as well.  or i guess it's more that i've been afraid of Nintendo rushing the hell out of it to get it out by Black Friday.

I want it on record that if it does fall victim to the "delayed to 2015" epidemic, I totally called it.

- Sakamoto and his personal development team re-emerging under new identity?

You know what to do, Mr. Sakamoto (;

Yeah, go back and make a GOOD fully 2D, HD sprite based Super Metroid sequel for Wii U.

Or, a good 2D Metroid with stereoscopic 3D for the 3DS. I'd prefer a 3D Metroid for WiiU.

@bolded, Super Metroid already had like 2 games claiming to be its sequel (Fusion and Other M). What we really need is a Fusion sequel! The story has been stagnant for 12 years! I wanna know what happens next! XP
