First console I ever owned was the PS1. Got it with Crash Bandicoot and Crash Team Racing.

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."

PS1, my friend gave me his when he got a PS2.

So many confession threads lately!!! lol.

PS2 was the first I bought myself. Though I had a N64, GameBoy Color, and a PSone before that I received as gifts.

Cool story!
My first console was a N64 too! We got it on a trip to Singapore in 1997. And the store sold us a fake defected controller since he knew we were tourists so we couldn't even return it. :/

My first console was a Gameboy with Pokémon Gold that my friend gave me, I loved that game so much that I bought a DS to play the newer Pokémon games. I'm mainly a Nintendo gamer because of that.
(Also, I won a 360 in a Bingo, and gave it to my friend whose birthday was on the same day XD)

Sorry for my broken english, not my main language =P

I had two at the same time. The NES and the N64 given to me at the same time. My NES had like 50 games. My N64 had like 2. Guess what I played more of.

snes and first game was SM3

I dont remember how when but I do remember waking up and there it was I just started playing and my brain got fried.

Master System for me.
During the 80's and eraly 90's it was very common to have "clones" of the NES in Brazil, as Nintendo didnt have an official representation here. SO we had 3 or 4 major "clones" with several names but were 100% compatible with the NES> We had Phamton System, Bit System, Dinavision, etc.

I wanter a Bit System, that was so cose to the official NES that they even kept the same colors and the "door" in front of the sonsole.

But my mom gog confused and bough a MASTER SYSTEM instead as she consufed bit system with master system.
I had a lot of fun with the master system dough, great games such as castle of illusion, phantasy star, sonic, alex kidd, outrun, etc

Here are some pics of the Bit System, clone of the NES
