The Fall's first episode finally hits the Wii U's eShop this Tuesday.
The game has you play an AI inside a suit, having to take control of it because of the unconscious human inside. The game plays as a 2D point and click adventure game with elements of platforming and shooting. The creators cite Metroid and Monkey Island as inspiration in the making of the game.
This Kickstarter (which I backed) by Over The Moon Games, located in Vancouver, Canada was, had a goal of $17,000 and ended well past it at $38,000, and with PayPal afterwards it broke its $41,000 stretch goal. It was orignally going to be a PC only release but had a $29,000 Wii U stretch goal that was easily passed. The PC version has been out for 2 months and has gotten great reviews. Will most likely be $10, going off its PC price.
That moment when your game finishes downloading for the first time, from the #WiiU e-shop. #thefallgame #launchingAug26
