launching in new territories in september wont do much for xb1. at least thats what i think.

September is going to be tough to win with the Destiny bundle launching. Its gonna be huge for ps4. However, Xbox will get a nice short term boost as well. I think the Madden bundle in August will help in September as well. Also, dont sleep on Destiny selling Xboxes as well. I know im going against the grain here but I believe the Xbox One will do great come the holidays. Bundles, white Xboxes, halo, call of duty, etc, etc. They will be fine. It will be closer than people think.

Kinda like a grand re-opening...I could get your product before, I can get your product now, but somehow there is a big difference.
Money can't buy happiness. Just video games, which make me happy.

How is being available for 9 months and officially available a BIG difference? Please tell me all of these differences...
You mention that the XB1 is currently sold out with the current september bundles. I never denied that these XB1 consoles would be a failure during the month of September. Go re-read the part that is in bold. You and I are in agreement that these September bundles will sell very very well. I am just stating that this surge of sales will be short lived.
Considering 98% of the new territories they are launching in are all within driving distance of areas it was already in I doubt it will make much difference..

Okay sorry I read it as 'just 'small' boost' and I was trying to point out that their is some demand for it even when already available..
the big difference is that when the new Iphone is released and it is not official available in a country like Belgium you still see people walking with it because you can find one if you really want in a store and when it becomes official avaialbe people are still sleeping outside the store whole the night for something that they already could get like 6 months before if they really wanted it...

So Sales are looking to get a big boost?

Hoping Horizon 2 will give it a nice boost but that will not be noticeable until numbers from early October will be out.
It seems that when people think of imports to tier 2 countries, they think of small, dingy videogame stores. The truth is that store bundled XB1s are available, and marketed by, the biggest electronics retailers we have. I can go to the largest electronics store in my area and find a mountain of them, bundled with Titanfall/Fifa+play and charge+controller stand. They'll be right next to the 3-4 PS4s the store has left.
With official marketing, you'll see a tiny, tiny boost in sales, if even that.
