I studied journalism so yeah, i know what i am talking about.

Of course you are unable to provide any evidence as to why TB wouldn't be a journalist - he is probably the best journalist in the gaming industry, with enough subscribers on his personal channel to make any other media outlet blush and one of the very few who is able and willing to criticize the industry itself

Hahahahahahahahahahahaha.

*breath*

Hahahahahahahahahahahaha

A critic is just a guy who gives his opinion on things and doesn't need regard fact.  Journalists aren't meant to let personal opinion sway what they report and stick to facts.  Pretty much the opposite of eachother.

TB is just a guy wth an opinion.

so this is where you are wrong, a journalist gives the opportunity to his audience to distinguish facts (sources) from opinion (himself)

Isn't that what opinion pieces are for though?  Which would lead you to at least a safe conclusion that non-opinion pieces are more fact based?

A shitty journalist maybe.  Tell me, what information does TB ever research himself and not just grab off someone else to talk about?   TB is no different to Marcus Beer, who admits he isn't a journalists.

Is what you call "grab off someone else" gathering sources and contextualizing them or is it something else ?

I don't know Marcus Beer and my point is basically TB is a great journalist and contrarily to your claim you can be a journalist and a critic.

an opinon piece as well as an "editorial" are where the matter discussed/analyzed is so broad that is should be considered more as an educated opinion rather than a factual report

For example : "Would a war in Iraq require a UN approval" - type of article - where morals, values, perceptions, etc. overweight facts in the core thesis

Non-opinion articles or "editorials", so typical articles are usually more factual but always leave space for opinion, especially in the interpretation of the involved actor's motivations.

Cool, thanks.
