It was so huge with high school/college dorm kids in the 90s.

Nintendo really should've just bought the rights to the film franchise for at least 10 more years IMO. That was a big mistake on their part, you don't mess with a formula that just fell into your lap like that.

Even if Rare wanted to make Perfect Dark, let them, put another team on making more Bond games. It's not like Rare wasn't allowed to make say 2 platformers (Banjo + Conker) at once.
