Play P.T. with Dualshock 4 headset on (it is mandatory to finish the game), then we will talk. I think Kojima´s genious is what this very amazing franshise needs, since the original team is now on Sony´s Team Siren, he is the best bet to make a Silent Hill like never before, and P.T. proves it.
And I agree, Silent Hill 1-4 were scary, but they were not about scares, they were a horror experience.
In a diferent way, P.T. is the same, sure you will see many interent idiots screaming and laughing during their P.T.s broadcast, but the game itself is a unique, lonely, creepy and, in much way, horrorific experience.
I look foward to see this kind of criativity in Silent Hills.
3 million copies, maybe. 2.5 and I'm being generous.

Actually, what Silent Hills proves is that there is an audience for the AAA horror title - you just have to know how to reach them and where to tighten things up. |
More than that, they also proved that horror games, real horror games, could be made, that you could scare and enerve a player somehow.
2-3 million. Also, what's with all of this multiplatform talk, I thought this was an exclusive?
Those sales are wrong, very wrong. As most of the time :). The game will do quite nice.

Potentially timed. |
I don´t think it is even timed, i think it is straight multiplataform on everything but WiiU. I will get the PS4 version in honor of this awesome P.T. thing. =D

It won't be 7th gen though, or I sure as hell hope that it won't be. A crossgen game in 2016 is just stupid, unless it's a sports title.

Yes, the 2016 date makes it hard to be 7th gen indeed, but it could, since the Fox Engine allow easy ports and optimizations for both gens.
