It's all mostly about MS fans / anti-Sony brigade trying to perpetuate the narrative that PS4 is selling on hype alone and that the hype will end and Xb one will then dominate the world. It's all just an inferiority complex, because fact is even the multiplat titles are selling PS4s because the multiplats are objectively better on PS4 and always will be. And the general consumer knows this, which is why PS4 continues to dominate a long time after any actual "selling on hype alone" effect would have ended.
PS4 has no weaknesses when it comes to gaming, so people have to try to invent one to make themselves feel better.

Lack of exclusives? Um.. The ps3 at this time of it's life cycle basically had two good IP.. Resistance and motorstorm....... The rest was shovelware.. While the ps4 has already been graced with kz sf.. Ac iv.. Bf4.. Infamous.. Watch dogs.. Tlou.. NBA 2k14.. Mlb the show.. Etc etc.. Games that are not anywhere bear shovelware and some of which are easily AAA.. Also GTA v, lbp3, drive club, the order, destiny, ac unity, all those horror io including blood borne, are way more like time tear away and that space game.. Really the ps4 is probably the platform with the most games coming out for it in history...... At this point of any console life cycle

Whoa, talk like that will get you a lot of flak, but I 100% agree with all you said.
I have always preferred a Playstation over an Xbox but at this current point in time the Xbone has me more interested with its releases. No doubt my perception will change in a year or two, but until then my PS3 kills the notion of buying a PS4.

The games will come and people can finally shut up about this.
Even last gen turned out way better than I had expected in terms of games, as the years went by of course.
When u consider all the great third-party games that already came out after just few months after launch+ some good first party launch games, it makes me laugh about people like you complaining on and on. U clearly became a gamer this very gen cause if you look at each Previous consoles, quality games were very few and scarce in their first year on market.
Go on and check on any vintage gaming sites and see for yourself.
Great games take time to make.
I understand if there is no games that suit your taste just yet but be patient, there soon will.
