I'm getting dragon age.

I've watched alot of shadow and it reminds me of war in the north. Not bad but not enough to get my $60. Ill wait till its $30.

DA1 really was a bore and weak on the story side. DA2 turned it around with an interesting story and a lot more action based gameplay. DAI seems to be a 50:50 mix of both so you might like it. I guess only people who know about the LotR universe will get the most out of SoW. It looks like a mid tier game and I don't think it will review all too well.

I guess it's all about what exactly you hated about DA1.

I just couldn't get into Dragon Age 1, the combat also put me to sleep.
In terms of gameplay, I'm more on Mordors side. I also remembered I get 10% off DA since it's an EA game as well.
I'll probably wait for the reviews to make the final call, but I'm more headed towards Mordor.
